Trump is a media creation. And allowing him to spew his lies on TV without challenge serves only to further his political agenda.

Yesterday and today Trump was allowed to ramble on basically unchallenged and mostly by himself. Once VP Pence comes on the networks turn away. This proves that the media views the reality show which is Trump great for ratings.

Joe Scarborough says networks should not show trump live. Which is saying a lot since he works for one of those networks as a TV host.

Once again the networks ignored the criticism and showed Trump's diatribe live. From about 6:30pm to 7:30pm (which is the time CNN and MSNBC decided to end their live coverage) Trump talked trash. He answered what questions he wanted and cutoff reporters who were assertive. He even made another pitch for the snake oil treatment, hydroxychloroquine. VP Pence wasn't allowed until about 7pm when answered 2 questions. Although Trump interrupted him while he attempted a comment. Reporter Yamiche Alcindor, who has clashed repeatedly with the liar-in-chief, said Trump used the briefing as a campaign rally.

Good question. The networks are in complicity by showing this freak show live:

Why is MSNBC still covering Trump live as of 6pm while CNN has stopped their coverage. Trump is doing his usual rambling and misleading presentation. CNN did start coverage again (of VP Pence) at 6:20pm. At 7pm (and after) the Networks were back to covering the spectacle.
