The administration, and others, have been claiming Russia is close to invading Ukraine. And still hasn't happened. And if were to have happened Russia would have invaded already. If defies logic. Are both sides waging the dog?
How many times are we going to keep hearing the same thing? It sounds like theater. Putin is obviously trying to get concessions from the West, to divide the alliance. Putin didn't really have plans to invade. But it is possible , in order to save face, he will do some kind of attack. Unless he gets something?
Macron gives Putin what he wants, ala Neville Chamberlain. The only difference is Putin wants to get concessions not really invade. He also wants to wag-the-dog. His domestic situation is not too great.
All this maneuvering suggests Putin has no interest of invading Russia. It is all about getting concessions from NATO and splitting the alliance. It's also about Putin wagging-the-dog. Biden is hyping talk of war because his poll numbers are rock bottom. This kind of bravado has the potential for miscalculation.
